Abortion

Recently, I have read many different articles with vast different opinions on legalization of abortion. Some pro-abortion, some against abortion. Yet, my opinion is still conditional. Abortion is any of various surgical methods for terminating a pregnancy, especially during the first six months. Abortion is the solution in only one situation-health issues. If the mother's has a health issue to where being pregnant threatens her life as well as the baby's life; she should consider an abortion. If the mother is not in this situation I do not think she should have an abortion.
Legalizing abortion has many different affects.  Legalizing abortion helps doctors invent safer ways  of doing the procedure. It also support the idea of have a abortion at anytime which I do not agree with. Life is a precious especially when it grows inside of you. If you can not be a good mother or financially support the child you should just give it up for adoption, not kill it.

My Ipod

I could not live without my Ipod(the fourth generation). It is so awesome. My Ipod goes everywhere with me. It goes to school, it goes to work, it goes to the store, it goes everywhere I go. If I go somewhere and I can not use it i get very sad. My ipod entertains me better than reality television and the internet.
My Ipod has tons of addicting games. When I am in zone with my Ipod I can not even heard or see anybody else. My Ipod also has wifi capablity and lots of great music. If I did not have a Ipod I do not know what I would be doing in my free time.I love my ipod so much. I can not live nor function without it. It would be like someone ripping my heart out. My ipod is the most indepsiable object in my possession.

How You Remember A Person

Recently, President Obama has received a small amount of backlash due to his honorable remarks about Whitney Houston upon her death. They had a problem because of Whitney's troubled past. Whitney was a woman who had a substance abuse problem. But Whitney was also a woman with an amazing voice and a amazing daughter,Bobby Chris. Should she be remembered for the positive aspects of her life or the negative aspects of her life . How should anybody be remembered?
In life we face many obstacles, sometimes we can overcome them and sometimes we can't. Whitney was battling it as best she could but the drugs won(allegedly). I believe that you should not speak ill of the dead. Her talent has nothing to do with her substance abuse problems.Upon a person's death you should remember the positive especially when the positive out ways the  negative. At the end of the day she touched the lifes of many people though her music and that should be what matters most. Think about this: Do you want to be remembered for your flaws or for your accompishments?

Love

"Love is as neccessary as the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink"
Bre'Anna Locke     This quote that I came up with basicly describes the importance of love in someone's life. You can not live without air, you can not live without food ,and you can not live without water. Life without love is miserable, lonely, sad, patheic, groomy, somber, detacted, almost a completely purposeless existence.Love's meaning can not even be explained into words. Love is something you feel deep within your soul. Love is the very essence of life. Love can be hot and passionate, warm and gentle, or cold, distance and tough. Love is love no matter what. Love can be from a family member, God, a good friend, or a boyfriend/girlfriend. Love is a deep, dynamic emotion / feeling needed in everyone's life. Love is and always will be a very important necessity.

Exam Overload!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This year for many tenth and eleventh grade students is a stressful year. We have to pass many different tests. We students have EOCs, TAKS, and finals for each subject. This totals to more than13 different tests to prepare for.The stress on the students and the devoted teachers who are trying to prepare the students for these tests is unforgiving.
Some of the test students are forced to take are just unnecessary such as the NWEA test. The students nor the teachers ever know the scores for this test. Therefore, they did not know what subject areas to focus on. Students ,such as myself, have huge amounts of stress. We do not know which test count toward us passing to the next grade level. So we have to try to pass them all. Are all these tests necessary or are they a huge waste of valuable time for students as well as teachers?

My Review of SuperBowl Half-time Performance

Fist of all, Madonna who? I understand that she is a pop icon but she is not relevant. I would appreciate if she passed the torch to lady gaga, a relevant pop star instead of criticizing her. Madonna's performance was filled with many special effects that I found creative, interesting, dramatic, dynamic, and definitely unforgettable. Her make-up, her hair, her costume/outfit were magnificent. However, her singing was completely mediocre and was completely overshadowed by the special effects. But, I still give her kudos because of her age, the fact she is an icon, and the fact she wore heels.
Heels are very hard to dance in.Besides the thousands of background dancers and choir singers, the performance also featured Nicki Minaj, and MIA. Nicki Minaj played her position as a featured artists. However, MIA gave the bird during her verse. This was a major problem due to the fact that super bowl is viewed as "Family Television" and caused major uproar. This kind of behavior is widely accepted at hip-hop/rap concerts, music videos, basically everything but family television. So it can be inferred that she was fined. On a scale of 1 to 5,I give her a 3.75.
